1. Introduction

BearCross : Sweet Bears Love Honey : Ranking Edition is a paid, offline-friendly word puzzle game designed for adults who enjoy vocabulary challenges. This game includes a login system for leaderboard functionality, but does not collect any personal information beyond what is required for ranking.

2 Information We Collect

We do not collect any sensitive personal data such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment details.

We only collect the following limited information for gameplay and ranking purposes:

• Display Name: The name chosen by the player to appear on global leaderboards.
• Country: Selected by the player to be displayed alongside their name.
• UID: A unique identifier generated via Firebase Authentication, used solely for identifying the player in the ranking system. No login or personal credentials are required.

This app requests access to internet, network, and Wi-Fi states solely to enable online leaderboard synchronization. These permissions are used for connectivity checks and secure data transfer with Firebase servers. No additional network activity, analytics, or data sharing occurs beyond this function.

3. How We Use the Information

The information collected is used exclusively for:

• Displaying the player’s name and country in the world leaderboard.
• Managing rankings fairly by linking scores to a persistent identifier (UID).
• Syncing scores securely between online and offline play modes.

We do not use this data for analytics, advertising, behavioral profiling, or marketing.

4. This game is primarily designed for offline play.

Internet access is only required for the following cases:

• Initial anonymous sign-in via Firebase Authentication (no personal login credentials are needed).
• Synchronizing player scores with the global leaderboard.

All gameplay features, including word puzzles and scoring, can still be enjoyed offline. Any data will automatically sync once the device reconnects to the Internet.

5. Data Retention Policy

We retain only the most recent score and highest score per UID for leaderboard management.

If a player requests data deletion (see Section 6), all associated UID-linked records will be permanently deleted from Firebase within 30 days.

6. User Rights (GDPR / CCPA Compliance)

Players have the right to:

• Request access to the data associated with their UID.
• Request correction or deletion of their display name or country.
• Request full removal from the global leaderboard.

7. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

This game is designed for general audiences and is suitable for all ages.

We do not knowingly collect any data that can identify a child under the age of 13.

Parents or guardians may contact us to review or delete any data associated with their child’s UID.

8. Data Storage & Security

All data is securely stored and transmitted via Google Firebase, which complies with industry-standard encryption and data protection measures.

We do not host or manage personal data on our own servers.

All communication between the app and Firebase (including Internet, network, and Wi-Fi state checks) is encrypted and limited to leaderboard synchronization only.

9. No Ads, No Trackers

This paid version contains no advertisements, no third-party trackers, and no background data collection.

Your gameplay experience is fully private and ad-free.

10. Payment Information

This game is a one-time purchase title.

The payment is processed securely through the platform’s official store (Google Play or Amazon Appstore).

We do not collect or store any payment information.

Once purchased, players receive full access to all features without any additional fees, ads, or in-app purchases.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. If changes are made, we will notify players through:

• An in-game prompt (upon launch)
• A changelog on the official website
